The Patuxent River Rugby Football Club

Since the club was established in 1990, the goal of the Patuxent River RFC (PRRFC), a 501(c)(7) club, has been to promote the sport of rugby and provide a fun as well as safe field of competition for all interested athletes. The men's club has been the driving force for promoting the sport of rugby in Southern Maryland and the charter club within the Southern Maryland Rugby Football Association (SMRFA), a 501(c)(3) organization. PRRFC is a senior men's club (D-III) with competitive membership within the Potomac Rugby Union (PRU), finishing as the Southern D-III Division Champions for the PRU in 2006. In 2008, the Club expanded to include a women's team and a youth program in 2009. The Club is looking for all Men and Women players 16 years and older to play. No experience is necessary and all skill levels are welcomed. We will teach you all you need to know about playing this exciting and challenging sport. All practices and games are supervised by experienced certified coaches.
